Biography

Bertrand’s professional career began in 2006 when he relocated to Florida after leaving his home country France. Along with his brother Arthur, he co-founded Vicomte-A, a high-end, sportswear and apparel company. As a specialized boutique that focused on high end men's and women's chic sportswear, Vicomte-A soon grew from its beginnings in Palm Beach, to being distributed through 60 retailers in the US as well as Nordstrom and now represented at the international level with franchise with market share extending beyond the east coast, and influencing fashion and style in France, Spain, England, Switzerland, Greece, Austria and Great Britian.

With this success, Bertrand's focus soon turned to commercial real estate. Due to his keen business sense, as it pertains to maintaining the positioning and marketing of his luxury brand, Bertrand was responsible for scouting out the best sites for various retail locations, and for acquiring relationships with sophisticated venues to host events as new products and accessories were being launched. As opportunities for business growth increased, and decisions were made to start purchasing store locations, Bertrand's strategic connections gave him an advantage when closing on the best location to further enhance his bottom line. While maintaining his initial business partnership with his brother, it is the success from this first venture, along with the acquired skills and exceptional business vision that Bertrand now brings to his full-time pursuit of leasing commercial spaces in Manhattan.

Though he has been in Manhattan for just a few years, Bertrand is very excited about his new pursuit. "Working with NYCRS has given me the chance to really understand the New York market. With my background, and my ability to relate the drive for success of an entrepreneur, along with the need to be attentive to a developing venture, NYCRS is a brilliant fit for me and my new career. They have an established reputation and enough offerings to suit most any client request."

bluhammock music Partners with Bertrand de Soultrait to Make The blu Party a Night to Remember
Equestrian News Release

Wellington, FL January 30, 2007 With an energetic spirit and a bottomless well of creativity, Bertrand de Soultrait is combining his talents with those of bluhammock music to create the party of the season.

The blu party is set for February 18, 2007. The idea of the party is to do a South Beach relaxed style. bluhammock's idea is to bring the music to the horse show, and we want to do something so that people will remember it a great party, de Soultrait explained. The evening will include a performance by bluhammocks own Virginia Coalition.

The bash will be held at Equestrian Club at Tavern on the Green, will benefit the Equestrian Aid Foundation and Peace Games. Tavern on the Green will handle most of the catering, but guests can expect some extras like the crepe maker from the show grounds and some surprises. With the combination of Bertrands international flair and the creative notes from bluhammock, this party will be a truly memorable evening. From a trendy Brazilian drink and regional wines to evocative, soulful music, it will be impossible for guests not to try something new.

At the youthful age of 22, de Soultrait has accomplished more than many will in a lifetime. A French native, he has spent the past three winters in the U.S., beginning as a groom and a rider. He has a distribution company that carries P.J. Saddles Bruno Delgrange and has a clothing line, Vicomte Arthur. Four stores in Palm Beach carry the line, which has upscale, luxury mens clothing, accessories and a new line of womens shirts. In addition, there are almost 20 stores in Paris that carry the brand, and de Soultrait will open his own boutique in the fashion capital this summer. He says the idea behind the line is a young Herms, with the combination of bold, vivid colors and leather.

bluhammock music is the presenting sponsor for the Winter Equestrian Festival from February 7-11, 2007, as well as the sponsor of the $60,000 Palm Beach Equine Clinic/Adequan Wellington Cup CSI 3* on February 11. During the week, there will be listening stations set up in the sponsor tent and patrons can listen to bluhammock artists while lounging in freestanding hammocks. The company sponsors a variety of outdoor lifestyle activities, such as the Palm Beach Equine Clinic and Adequan Gold Coast Jumper Classic Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival, Polo at Bridgehampton, Sundance Film Festival and the Nantucket Wine Festival.

bluhammock music is an independent record label based in New York City and distributed through Red, a Sony company. Founded by an avid equestrian, bluhammock artists produce music that accompanies a variety of outdoor lifestyles, such as equestrian sports and sailing. Currently, bluhammock has six signed artists whose mission is to produce honest, evocative music that appeals to a range of personalities and ages. The artists are Cary Brothers, Jim Boggia, Virginia Coalition, Kristoffer Ragnstam, Speech, and Swati.

Tickets are $75 in advance and $95 at the door and can be purchased at the Vicomte Arthur store, located next to Beval Saddlery, at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club.
