Biography

David’s block by block real estate expertise is only matched by his curiosity-filled spirituality. As the pre-eminent restaurant broker in Manhattan’s “Hot” Midtown West area, David brings an unmatched track record of leasing as well a systematic market reconnaissance that allows his clients to be instant market experts. That market expertise gives an insider’s edge, saving time and always adding value that agents with less analytical smarts just can’t provide.

David’s background in mortgage brokerage underwriting, appraisal and real estate asset management gives him the unique ability to evaluate property and ascertain realistic values for which he can develop effective marketing strategies.  He has been a liaison and consultant for trendy clubs and restaurants and has deep involvement in Manhattan’s complex Community Boards, NYS Liquor Authority, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Community Affairs and the Midtown West Business Owner’s Association as well as many Neighborhood Block Associations. He brings a vast network of contacts with city and state regulatory agencies, expeditors, architects and liquor lawyers, all focused on adding value to the transaction.

Prior to entering the real estate industry, David was in the hospitality industry as a casino dealer/floor supervisor in Atlantic City and on cruise ships in the Caribbean, an experience that taught him how to relate well to all personality types.

Once back on dry-land David attended NYU Real Estate Institute while he also was exploring his spirituality.  David believes in stretching the imagination and soul. He was a staff member of The Omega Institute, a holistic learning Center in Rhinebeck NY, www.eomega.com and The New York City Open Center www.opencenter.org and became a “Fire Walker” with Anthony Robbins. While living in Hawaii David continued his study of different philosophies such as Huna mysticism, and developed a strong sensibility to indigenous people.  He also continued his studies of the martial arts of Aikido and Tai Chi Chuan. David also believes in being of service, whether it was being an Emergency Medical Technician, or Certified “Gold” Personal Trainer (ACE).

David gave up cruising on his Harley for walking his Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood becoming an expert on that area’s real estate landscape. “I’m interested in most everything, especially all people and servicing their real estate needs.”

David’s licenses/certificates include NY Real Estate Salesperson, New York Certified Appraiser, Hawaii Certified Appraiser and Paralegal.
