Kathleen began her real estate career soon after graduating Cornell University. Her work in real estate finance on Wall Street led to her selling real estate for various private developers. Pleased by her success and ability to close transactions, she then started her residential real estate firm which sold co-ops and condominiums in NYC's West Village. With the goal of becoming more hands on in the development and renovation aspects of the industry, Kathleen acquired, through a program at Waterworks , a knowledge of kitchen and bath design; with this added expertise she soon began to pursue residential rehabilitation, with the intent to re-sell.
To her work at NYCRS, Kathleen brings her deep experience as an entrepreneur, as well as spot-on insight to the New York real estate market. Along with her ability to advocate on behalf of the buyer or seller, she shares an uncommon commitment to make sure her clients' needs for specific amenities or location requirements are always met as she works to find the best office space for their new or growing company, a well trafficked area for their retail venture or restaurant, or trendy venue for them to further develop their bar or lounge.
" I have a particular love of interiors and design that I find useful in understanding the type of spaces my clients need," she says. "I focus on finding spaces that are unique, unusual, and those that possess interesting, architectural details. "
Kathleen's successes with NYCRS include: corporate headquarters for the NY Cosmos soccer brand, a carriage house for a jeweler on freeman alley on the Lower East side, a gallery focusing on restarting the Polaroid brand and a retail store for a Korean skincare company.
