Ken Brandman relishes the world of Manhattan commercial real estate. The stakes are high, and both the clientele and the deals have proven fertile ground for Ken's excellence as a top-notch negotiator and businessman.

After graduating from Pace University and becoming a CPA, Ken began his professional career as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand, where his auditing responsibilities included such accounts as Phillip Morris, Unilever, NBC, and museums like the American Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Modern Art. Ken also traveled internationally, servicing world-wide accounts and creating an internal audit function for Bloomberg LP.

Ken has always had a passion for Manhattan commercial real estate. He first began taking seminars and spending time in the “foreclosure wing” of the New York City Supreme Court house while he was a student at Pace University, and he became involved in residential real estate purchases and co-op conversions in the early 1990’s. By the end of the decade, Ken had begun working in NYC real estate full-time.

Ken's success in the industry is due to his well-rounded business background and education, his quick mind and his keen ability to get to the point in negotiating a fair transaction and making deals happen. Ken’s dynamic personality and his no-nonsense business approach make him a superior manager and dealmaker. And his long history with the New York Business and Real Estate community makes him one of the best connected in New York City.

Ken is a member of the Steering Committee for both the Soho and Chintatown Business Improvement Districts (BIDS). Ken is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, and the Greenwich Village Chamber of Commerce.
